First a Few Things to Mention[]

Hello and welcome, to my first blog and new series. These blogs will be made when I have the time; so this won't be a daily thing. And another thing this blog is going to be a short-lived series (hopefully 5-6 episodes). Something to keep in mind is that the blog series, will be made the exact same way with every episode having an introduction, place(s) I'm exploring, how long have I been exploring told through the date or a number of days, theorys and a final message or outro. I've also been thinking of making some theorys and posting them on here... just a heads up. Anyway on with the blog.

Introduction[]

In this new episode/blog entry, i'll be covering the research I was doing for the past two days, on the quad lens you can purchase in GTA5 Online. For those who don't know, the quad lens is a type of combat helmet that creates thermal imaging when worn, visors is set to down and activated. This enables the player to see NPCs, animals, players and possibly mythological creatures through thermal imaging. You can buy the quad lens at a clothing store between $47,000 and $100,000. Anyway, continuing on... while I was investigating I saw some interesting thing that maybe worth your time.

Goatmans Bridge Day 1[]

I got on my motorcycle and drove out of my Arena Workshop, and when I got out I quickly realized It was snowing. I also realized it was April Fools day which is pretty cool because I missed April Fools day in GTA5 last year. I picked up a few snowballs and started heading towards the bridge. While I was driving I turned on some music and started to think and ask questions. I asked myself a strange question "Is the Goatman omnivorous or does he just eat grass?". "...Grass".

I finally got to the bridge at 11:30 PM exact. I scoped the area for a few minutes trying to not get to close to the bridge. After that I began examining the bridge. While I was examining I noticed there was no snow on the base of the bridge, the rest of the bridge was covered in a very thin layer of snow. It didn't make sense, why is there no snow on the base of the bridge if there is snow underneath the bridge?  If there was snow on the bridge and it melted, underneath the bridge would be ice or have a water run-off. Not only that if it did melt, I would be able to tell if the bridge is wet by the light shining off of it.

As It turned midday, I knew I was done here. So I called in a helicopter and went to my next stop.

The Abandoned Mine Day 1-2[]

I landed the helicopter near the mine, got out and RPGed the door. I looked around the entrance and took some screenshots then walked into the mine. I took out my pump shotgun and turned the light on and crouched. As I taped X I heard snow crunching, I looked down and saw no snow. "What the f***?" I said puzzled. I shrugged it off and pushed on. Two paths came up ahead I decided to go right. As I walked I heard footsteps behind me so I stopped. The footsteps were on top of me now. I walked faster and stopped the footsteps got louder and stacked on top of eachother. I waited for them to stop, when they stopped, I took out a pistol and shot above me. Out of nowhere I heard a bat squeal then the flaps of bat wings go past me. It sound like 6 bats grouped together. I quickly turned the light on looked around and saw nothing. I ran back to see if I can find the bats, I found nothing. Turned around to look again and saw a tall shadowy figure, the figure looked a foot taller than me. In one second he vanished. I turned around and pretended I saw nothing.

I took the left path. As I ventured on I noticed I couldn't here any footsteps. I found nothing on the left except the sound of a creeking door. So I left the mine.

Day 2. I entered the mine again. As I walked around I noticed the mine was filled with more echo. I shot a barrel and the barrel started to pour gasline. I shot the puddle it made and it started to burn. But something was off, the inferred on fire started to flash. I threw a molotov and got the same result. I tried this on four other barrels... same results. I went outside and shot a barrel, the fire didn't flash. I pour gasline, shot it didn't flash. Threw a molotov and it didn't flash.

Theorys[]

For the abandoned mine I did research on inferred goggles, and found out that inferred goggles, use a small amount of light to produce an image. The paranormal are known to mess with lights to get attention. This means the mine is indeed haunted. For the bats well bats are known to live in mines. I think these bats could of migrated because of the cold from a cave.

The Goatmans Bridge... No idea, maybe some fellow myth hunters can help me out in the comments.

 Final message[]
