The Train Collision is a rare glitch that can occur in Grand Theft Auto V.

Description[]

In the Prologue mission, there is a train that is scripted to hit the SUV that Michael and his crew are escaping in. However when the mission is replayed too many times, the train may not spawn correctly and will continue driving even after colliding with the SUV. The mission then progresses normally.

However when the mission replay has ended and the player is back in Los Santos, there is a rare chance that the train from North Yankton would not have despawned with the rest of the snowy map and will continue to float back to its intended pathway in Los Santos (similair to the "Strange Collisions" phenomenon). This means that now there are 2 trains in the game - the normal one that always spawns around Los Santos and drives around the map's pathways and the North Yankton one which shares almost the same code but is also scripted to travel to North Yankton's pathway alongside Los Santos.

Going near any rails in the game, the player may witness the two trains collide head on with each other. This will cause both trains to explode, get derailed and their bodies to massively distort and glitch. The game may also crash.
