Thelma and Louise is an Easter egg in Grand Theft Auto V.
Description[]
This Easter egg can be found in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, near Raton Canyon. It can only be seen by flying to the location with a helicopter, and it will only occur between 7 pm and 8 pm. If the player flies close to the location, they may see, what appears to be a group of law enforcement standoff on top of a mountain. The player will be able to witness a small group of police cars and policemen firing at a Tornado. The car appears to be surrounded by police and cornered at the edge of a cliff. If the player examines the scene close enough, they may see two females in the car with two guitars and a large sombrero sitting in the back seat. If the player, or any object is in their driving path, then the driver will honk hesitantly and madly, until the player or object moves (The police also stay back until the vehicle moves). As the officers slowly approach the Tornado, it will accelerate and drive off the edge of the cliff, and can explode upon landing on the valley below, assuming nothing was in their driving path.
If the player investigates the vehicle's tragic and possibly burnt wreck, they may still discover the two sole occupants of the vehicle with the Mexican party supplies. Furthermore, the vehicle is a classic convertible version of a Tornado. This unique variant appears in one other instance in the game, during the mission The Civil Border Patrol. Sometimes, it can also be found alongside groups of Mariachis in various locations across Blaine County and in Vespucci Beach.
This Easter egg is a reference to the ending of the film Thelma & Louise.
