The Spy is a possible myth found in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
Eyewitnesses of The Spy claim that the player will receive a strange phone call while wandering the woods of Back O' Beyond. This phone call is believed to trigger the spawning of the Spy, as he can be spotted stalking the player and aiming a camera at CJ during the call, only to retreat when it's over. The Spy is believed by fans to be mission boss Mike Toreno, a government agent who employed CJ during the missions in the final parts of the game. Players claim that Mike Toreno is known to stalk CJ due to multiple pieces of dialogue from missions. In multiple missions, Toreno is known to tell CJ that he is "keeping an eye on him." In the free-roam mode, before the mission Vertical Bird, Toreno will pester the player into completing Flight School by sending him phone calls.
