Suicidal Pedestrians is a myth in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Description[]

Links Bridge[]

Main article: Suicidal Worker

In the mission, Phnom Penh '86, when the player passes under the Links Bridge in Maverick, a Spand Express worker will jump off the bridge, colliding with a helicopter and then lands in the water below. The worker falling is seen if the player aims behind Maverick. That is a reference to the fact that many workers of Spand Express underwent a job crisis following Avery Carrington's purchase of Spand Express and its land. That left many workers unemployed.

WK Chariot Hotel[]

Main article: WK Chariot Hotel

A pamphlet of The Samaritans, reading "DON'T JUST JUMP HYPER-JUMP", can be seen by the window on the accessible floor of WK Chariot Hotel, Vice Point. Samaritans is a real-life organization for emotional support regarding suicides. Rockstar parodied Samaritans and encouraged the player to commit suicide. Several suicidal screams also have been heard in the hotel.

Escobar International[]

At the southwest part of Escobar International Airport, a small corner of the bridge connects the other side of the road. Due to pedestrians' AI, they usually walk off the edge of the footpath and sometimes fall on the street below. That is because pedestrians can only walk in a straight line and cannot turn circularly in any direction.
