Lizardman refers to any lizard humanoid creature and belongs to a broad categorization of bi-pedal reptilian hominids.[1] In GTA, Lizardman is considered a false myth as no legitimate evidence of its existence has ever been produced and no textures for potential models appear in any games files.
San Andreas[]
Some players have reported encountering a reptilian-like creature in the desert region, particularly in the ghost town of El Castillo del Diablo and at Greenglass College. The entity was most commonly reported to be hostile, attacking the player for no reason. The creature is allegedly immune to gunfire but not impervious to melee damage and has a large amount of health, dealing relatively low damage itself. No compelling evidence has come to light and so far all reports have been proven to be modifications, most commonly the Lizardman variant found in the Misterix Mod.
Lizard King[]
During the mission Don Peyote, The Truth phones CJ and mentions that he has spent the last few nights on a Peyote safari in the desert with Kent Paul and Maccer. During this phone call he claims to have faced the inner light and communed with the Lizard King. The events proceeding this are unknown as he reports waking up in Los Santos in a Japanese Bathhouse with no idea how he arrived. It is unknown what The Truth meant by Lizard King or if it has any relation to the claims of Lizardmen.
GTA V[]
During Ron Jakowski's segment on the Blaine County Radio Community Hour, he directly mentions a Lizardman. Some players have suggested that Ron's mention of a cryptid could be an indirect acknowledgement by the developers of the GTA myth hunting community. This is unlikely however, as such an obscure reference would be lost on the majority of players who are unaware of such things. It is more likely intended to be a parody of modern conspiracy theorists in general, especially those concerning the Reptillian conspiracy theory. No credible evidence of Lizardmen existing in GTA V has been found.
