For the myth in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, see Ghost Maverick.

Ghost Helicopters are a proven myth in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Description

Ghost Helicopters are abandoned police helicopters that fly involuntarily with no pilot in the cockpit, similar to the police and news helicopters in GTA San Andreas. Several investigations have revealed that players can fly through these helicopters. These helicopters can be found flying around the city. Players have even demonstrated that the rotor stops working on rare occasions. It could be a glitch or Rockstar would've developed them as such. They could've been made to make the city feel more alive. If the players shoot down these helicopters, they will receive a 3 star wanted level immediately.
