The Degenatron is a parody of early 1980s gaming consoles, such as the Atari 2600 and the Intellivision, and the games it plays are inspired by real games of that era, while Pogo The Monkey is a video game from GTA III. These arcades are unplayable in the game. They could also refer to Mario. An internet site named http://www.degenatron.com is another reference to the arcade games.
