Evil Voices are a myth in Grand Theft Auto III.

If the player stands near the apartment in Hepburn Heights that’s not playing music, a raspy, low, growl like evil voice is heard. Although there are 2 audio files with the voice a 3rd can be heard. All instances of the voice are unintelligible. Many of those possessed by Demons are witnessed speaking in tongues or inexplicable muttering. The area is coincidentally held by the Diablos gang, meaning Devils, which leaves many to believe it’s a demon.
The area is not commonly visited by players and the neighboring buildings play music, which can lead players away from the demonic sounds.
