Cultstoppers.com is a real-life website made for Grand Theft Auto V. This website also can be accessed in-game by the player with the same link name. The websites in the game and real-life are a little different, but same in terms of the topic.
Description[]
Cultstoppers is a website published by two unknown writers that warns visitors about cult activity around the game world. The writers report that they were members of an unknown cult that isn't named or mentioned anywhere else in the game. Other cults detailed on the site include the Altruists, the Children of the Mountain, and Bill Binder's pyramid scheme. Most of the website's content, however, is dedicated to the Epsilon Program.
In the second, red paragraph it is written:
“ | It can happen to your child. It can happen to you. It happened to us, and we were just two normal, needy, lost liberal arts graduates, from averagely dysfunctional white middle-class families, who fell for the rhetoric of a charismatic man at the end of the 1970s | ” |
After the paragraph, the person writes that supposedly the cult leader is just a drug-ravaged sexagenarian psychopath.
“ | You start off excited about some better way to live, then progress to worshipping some drug-ravaged sexagenarian psychopath,... | ” |
There is a website with the completely same topic just made for the game cultstoppers.com.
Epsilon Program members[]
There are 5 pictures of Epsilon Program members who are believed to be abducted:
These people are based on real-life people.
The Verdict and Theories[]
There is no explanation how and why they were abducted, but it could be possible that Epsilon Program is just a fake cult made for gaining money with the purpose of buying more drugs. It is also possible that people who want to tell other people about their wrongdoings will be abducted.
