Crippen Memorial Hospital is a small medical center located in Montgomery in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
The Crippen Memorial Hospital is notable for being the only Health Facility in Red County. CJ is admitted to the Hospital if Wasted in the vicinity.
The back lot adjacent to the Hospital contains the Biowell, a location suspected to be heavily polluted and suggested inhabitance of the Ring Girl. Players have theorized the hospital may have disposed of its medical waste, including cadavers, in the well at some point in the past, quickly linking the Ring Girl myth and the Hospital.
The Hospital's exterior is run-down and appears abandoned at first glance, but the presence of a current, state-issue Ambulance at the rear of the Hospital confirms otherwise.
The Hospital might be named after Hawley Harvey Crippen, a British doctor who was hung for murdering his wife in 1910.
