Christine is a proven myth and an Easter egg in Grand Theft Auto Online.

Halloween Update[]

In 2021 and 2022, Rockstar released the Halloween Update, a limited time in-game event where various cryptids and monsters were added to Grand Theft Auto Online, such as aliens, sasquatches, evil clowns, and many more. One such malevolent creature was a sentient red 1958 Plymouth Fury that would charge at players and kill them; a reference to the 1983 film Christine, where another Fury goes on a murderous rampage after gaining a mind of it's own.

Trivia[]

Hijacking Christine would result in the car instantly exploding.
Some players took advantage of Christine by leading it to on-foot players in order to kill them.
It was rumored that creating a vehicle with a similar appearance to Christine would render it docile; however, this is untrue.
