Well, long time no see, I have been back researching on San Andreas since we have started our two week holiday, I decided, since nothing was happening during my free roams and side missions that particurly got me interested, I decided to redo all of big anticipated and more difficult ones, and what do you know, I found something strange, or more, out of the ordinary.
In the mission, "A Home In The Hills", there is a particular scene/gameplay moment where you have to jump and glide via "parachute" to reclaim Madd Doggs crib "home", now, this begins with the Triads and yourself jumping out of the plane, and reaching the roof, which the Vagos are patrolling.
Now since I re-done this mission over 5 times, I know for a fact, what I am about to say is real and true.
I happened to parachute or glide almost about 25 metres away from the roof, when I took a quick glance back, and saw one of my fellow Triads, being heavily hit, and ended up killing him, with saw him fall to the ground, and then got back up, then proceded to fall back down in the death stance, then re-stand and fall again, it was until I further shot him with the gruesome headshot, he was fully dead without a doubt, and never in my other 4 tries, happened again.
Now since, I play PS2, the gunfire from the Vagos only starts as soon as the first member either "Triads" or yourself hit the roof, which made me think, how was the "Triad" being shot in mid-air when the scripts werent set to shoot in mid-air?
Now, the only explantion I have for the mid-air shooting is that I triggered a shot, that hit the roof and since the scripts are set to target once provoked or further introduced, they AI could have possibly took aim at another AI, forcing it to glitch when it hits the ground, since the Triads are then only scripted to die once landing on the roof.
The strange thing was, the reoccuring, standing up, then falling back down, which happened exactly 5 to 6 times, before I shot the bullet that killed him "the Triad", I have no explanation for that, since most glitches that happen like this, seem to be suspected dead, get back up and randomly walk or run around.
If you have any questions or contributions please be welcome to post them in the comments!
I feel so good to be back into Myth Hunting, since 3 months ago was the last time I properly did so.
