Bigfoot is a false myth in Grand Theft Auto III.

Description

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Bigfoot was an extremely popular myth, and this popularity soon planted the seeds for a similar myth about the creature appearing in GTA III

Players have reported seeing Bigfoot in northern Cedar Grove around Upstate Liberty, and in the nearby mountainous areas of Shoreside Vale, similar to his alleged sightings in Back O' Beyond. Although the Cedar Ridge Observatory (and the terrain around it) is not solid, the lower level of the ridge which is dotted with trees is solid and is easily accessible.

Some players have even claimed to have seen Bigfoot running down the mountain to the nearest road and attack pedestrians.

Unfortunately, due to lack of credible evidence, it has been concluded that Bigfoot does not exist nor appear in GTA III.
