What's on your mind?
OK, so, I've been wanting to write this for around a month and just got to it. Heres my theory about the mount chilliad stuff. As many of you know, the mural is located in the cable car building on the top. The lighting bolts people believe they represent thunder storms, however, I believe the mean something else. If you look it up, lighting bolts (is attached) also mean "White Supremacy". You may say, that those don't look alike, I believe Rockstar altered it so they woulden't get called racist. Thi sconnects to this because, if you look at the mural, theres two spots to connect to the surface besides the top point. I believe, if you get Micheal and Trevor to the spots on the side, it might do something.
Now on to the jetpack and UFO. There is a line, connecting the UFO with the jetpack. So, if you go to the top of it, when the UFO is there, and bring a jetpack, it also might do something. In a comment by ExSlax (is attached) he sates, "3 protagonists (two old friends and a newbie), 5 mission categories to clear. Thunderbolts to show heavy rain." I believe, if you finish the whole game, and get Franklin to the mural/top of the mountain, Trevor or Micheal the jetpack side and the UFO side, have it rain, this could solve the mystery.
I'd try this, however my GTA save currupted so I havent been able to redo it.
Hello fellow myth hunters. I was playing GTA V today and decided to go around some rural areas. When I was near Cape Catfish, I noticed some figure near the bridge. I immediately took a screenshot, right before my game crashed, so I could only take one. I investigated the screenshot and identified the creature as Goatman, due to its goat-like appearance. You can take a look. Tell me your thoughts about it.
When I about to left the cemetery after investigate that, Some car (black with female driver) driver throught to the walk way around the cemetery and it despair (I don't it despair or not because I can't catch the car). It very strange for me and why.

Any idea on what this is?
What about panic in the woods? I still don't understand
I hear some people saying dog is god spelled backwards, or it might be a guardian angel or reference to lassie. Could this dog be god? (No disrespect)
No idea why there's a picture of him here, might be about his death, but it's in online. Might be just Rockstar forgetting about such a small piece of detail while making GTA Online.
There is an unidentified underwater structure south of the tennis court number 4, in Chumash, with pipes, coastal bunker-like building, some ferryboat-looking element whose one half resembles the Submersible, but is a lot larger etc. All located underwater at the aforementioned location. Anybody know what it might be? .unknowncommander thinks it may be an oil rig. IDK, it doesn't look like oil rig to me, but we'll see. Please state your ideas.
So recently i've been digging through shipwrecks and stuff within GTA V when I remembered about the submarine wreck north off of Mt. Gordo. Well, I did some research and stuff and apparently the conning tower of the submarine resembles that of a Soviet Charlie-class submarine , along with the paint style, which also resembles that of the Charlie-class. But then again, that's not the only submarine in the game. Aside from the one at Pacific Bluffs, there's also one at the Los Santos Naval Port, or Merryweather HQ. Thanks to the GTA Wiki and some Youtube videos, i've been able to confirm that it's a Soviet Alfa-class submarine. Both of the submarines are very visually similar, and one could have been the other. So what does this mean? Why does Merryweather own Soviet submarines? Had they purchased one? Was the one off of Mt. Gordo a relic from the Cold War (which for some reason was extremely close to the coast of the US), or was it just owned by Merryweather for whatever reason?
I decided to do some research if the Soviets had used submarines to spy on the United States, or to find an explanation for them and instead came up with an article about the opposite. I also found an article from 1983 about a soviet submarine that ran ashore of the coast of South Carolina.
What are your guys thoughts about it?
I'm sure its all happened when you have a wanted level when the cops suddenly just steal another NPC's car. Well, that happened, I saw a cop throw out the driver of a bus, and another one at the same time pull out the driver of a small car. Then, both original drivers pulled the cops out and both sped off, and then the cops chased them. lol.
Guy on Eclipse Boulevard and Vinewood Boulevard with a red vest and red thing in his hand (looks like the thing that Michael uses in the Epsilon Program mission Con some one look in to it for me he is between the Oriental Theater and the Last Train in Los Santos
Hey there! I was playing GTA V, when I stumbled across a possible TTCM (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) reference. It is a cow, which is scripted to walk into the road. If the player is going really fast, they may not see it and hit it.
But how does this refer to TTCM? Well, in the first minutes of the movie, the pack are driving, when a woman on a bike is threatening them with a sawn-off shotgun. Next, the driver gets a gun and aims backwards. However, he doesn't see the cow just few meters away, thus hitting it. link
However, even though it is scripted, it might not be a reference to TTCM.
I guess this should instead be a blog post given the personal nature of the post, but who really uses that feature anymore?
Devin Weston's Ghost has always been a rather interesting myth to me for no particular reason. I've investigated it both before and after the page was created on the wiki, before and after 100 percent completion, and with all three protagonists. I've put in just about 3 or so hours into hunting down this particular myth, which for such a minor thing is enough for me to give it a final judgement.
The post will be rather disorganized, since I'm just going to look at specific facts related to the myth and I think of them.
Of course, I haven't exactly had much success in actually hunting down this myth, but in my time at the scene there's been a small amount of evidence that could potentially mean something is there:
On two occasions, I have seen props in the area move on their own. Both times were on the upper deck area and were chairs. One time was a large black chair, and another was just a normal lawn chair. In both instances, the chairs were yanked backwards by about a meter and then tipped over backwards. While this is quite strange, it's entirely possible that some sort of thing could be in the game naturally, perhaps to emulate wind.
My next piece of evidence happened today, and it's rather extraordinary. I was playing as Trevor hanging around the black chairs, which I had seen being moved on their own in a previous investigation, going north (which means I wouldn't be facing any lights.) When I shifted my camera to the right, I saw a white orb directly above the table which promptly disappeared moments later. Could this be the force that moved the chairs in earlier investigations?
While investigating around Devin's mansion, it becomes apparent that the area was really poorly optimized. For example, when I would go past a corner, there would be a split second delay before certain props would appear. This was most prominent with the white umbrella model, which is quite ironic given that it's appearance is similar to the classic bed sheet ghost cliche, possibly acting as an explanations for some sightings of the ghost. Additionally, the black chairs I mentioned earlier are very peculiar. I noted a glitch that the chairs would fade in and out, as all props do at a distance, simply by traveling from one side of the deck to another. The effect creates a black transparent blob, which might catch unaware myth hunters. Not only that, but if the chairs are tipped over (by a human or otherwise...) the chair's bottom texture is extremely glitchy and either shows as completely transparent, or a black mass of random lines.
There is a huge amount of lights at Devin's mansion, and they come in a wide array of colors too, this creates a lot of problems for myth hunting. It's also probably the cause for the area's extreme optimization, especially on a console port of the game. One thing I've noted is that, at night, some rooms are lit up. For realism's sake, these rooms emit some of their light outside. It seems Rockstar got this effect by creating a very weak light source right on the wall (using the window texture) itself. This can give the impression of lights being in a place where there is no logical source of it, and in some cases, a small lens flare is seen when looking at the window from certain angles, another factor which could easily confuse the player.
This may be the strangest part of the whole mystery. At night, intermittently, I would hear a very strange droning or humming noise around Devin's mansion. In my investigations, I would first hear the drone noise for a matter of seconds, which would be considered as probably just an airplane flying overhead or another noise. As I stayed in the area longer and longer, the humming noise would stay for longer periods of time, eventually being always there at approximately the hours of midnight to 3 AM. What this noise even is, is quite hard to describe.
When trying to find the source of the hum, I have a few theories: 1.) I've determined that the literal source of the hum, as it would be in the game's most technical sense, comes from somewhere in the middle of Devin's house. This is because the closer I got to the walls, the sound intensifies, the farther away from the walls, the sound degenerates. It becomes inaudible by the time the player reaches the front gate outside. 2.) There are two air vents on the far west side of the house, one for each floor. The bottom floor vent is rather large, but the top floor vent is about the size of the player's head. It's possible that this is where the sound originates from. However, no smoke or anything is seen coming from these vents, which doesn't imply that they are being used. Additionally, the behavior that I've mentioned above doesn't really match that of the vents - the sound doesn't originate from them. 3.) On Devin's roof is a strange looking satellite dish. It kind of looks like a snare drum on it's side rather than an a true satellite. It may be possible that some sort of malfunction of the dish is emitting the sound, but I admit that it seems incredibly far fetched.
So there's my ramblings about Devin's mansion and all the weird things I have spotted while hanging out there. Hopefully it can provide some kind of assistance to anyone looking to check out the area themselves, even if it is mostly theories. Let's look forward to solving the strange droning noises, especially.
I was playing online and was on a jetski and heading to the submersible wreck off the Pacific Bluffs. There, I started to hear some weird noises, it sounded like wind noises, and to note - I wasn't wearing scuba diving gear, so it wasn't breathing. There, I swam to the top and started to search up what a whale sounded like in GTA in case I was confusing it. Nope, it wasn't a whale - and i came back to see I was teleported to the beach and marked dead in the same spot I was in before. Could the waves pulled me underwater or did I just die from something unexpected? I had found the whale sound within only like 20 seconds by looking on the GTA wiki. So what was it? I think i might be just mistaking another animal for this.
