It has been haunting me forever. I think it spawned in the Malibu Club GTA Vice City (Maby in an other GTA but i`m pretty sure it was Vice City Malibu Club).

I was killing a lot of civillians and coppers 5 stars and all, finaly running into the Malibu Club to just keep killing from behind the bar, when after a while the Grim Reaper spawned, i killed it and it looked like it droped something i thought it to be a scythe. Tryed to get it but then i was killed, comming from behind the bar. 

I tryed to get the spawn again many times but never succeeded.

Does anyone know anything about this??? After all these years i still can`t find a thing about it on the internet, accept for mods and maby something with a priest in San Andreas.

I was playing GTA Vice City recently, and I noticed very strange lines of dialogue at certain periods of the game. Before Diaz's death, when Tommy is walking outside the mansion, the gang members can be heard saying:

"When he dies, i will take cover."

Obviously, he's one of Diaz's men, talking about taking control of the gang when he dies. However, after the "Rub Out" mission, you can hear other gang members saying "You should tell him, Mario" or "Forget about it Mario". Could this be, gang members, telling this "Mario" to forget about taking control of the family, or telling Tommy that he should be the boss? would it be a conspiracy ?!

I found this reference. It's the first reference to UFOs in GTA Vice City by any in-game pedestrian.
The reference is "Do you believe in UFOs" by patrol investment group. It is at 3:21.

Hey there! I was surfing the web and I found this site. It is about Funeraria Romero. I don't know Spanish too well, but the map says it is located in Granada. It is in Spain, so Could it also be a reference to Giant Spiders?

Hey guys, so I was screwing around the Mansion in VC, and I saw something strange in the bushes, it looked like a creature, but by the time I got to the place where I saw it, nothing was there? I completed the game, but not 100%, it looked kinda like the Jetpack to me. I also zoomed it, so you can see it.

I was doing some detective work recently to find the origins of the businesses on Prawn Island, namely Doehler Metal Furniture and Elbee Chemists. What I discovered is that these buildings are located in Queens, New York, rather than anywhere in Vice City. While I haven't researched too deep into this yet, it may open the door to a few potential new mysteries. For example, the Queensboro Bridge that connects Manhattan and Queens, is well known for supposed ghost sightings (these were even parodied in the movie Ghostbusters.)It's possible that the North Bridge is based off this bridge and is haunted (the nearby sunken Reefer may be responsible, as those onboard were killed when the vessel sunk. Funny enough, Elbee Chemists officially closed sometime in 2002, so it's unlikely that this texture was a leftover from GTA III.

Hey, one user found something interesting in Vice City. However, that user showed that to us in Russian language so I had to translate it, so there may be errors. Here it goes:

"One day I was walking around Ocean drive and shooting at street criminals. It was about 2 o'clock in the morning. Suddenly I heard a strange noise, similar to the blow of a cleaver. At the same time, a faint rustle was heard... Two seconds later, on the wall of the building, I saw a shadow, similar to a cook. A few seconds later the shadow disappeared. The next day I found nothing on Ocean Drive. I think that the shadow and the noise is the case of the ghost of Leo Teal. The version of the game is Android."

Anyone done any digging into the Degenetron in Vice City?

It's an arcade machine advertised on the radio, and from what I've read, most descriptions consider it a parody of early 80's consoles like the Atari 2600

Now, me and Cfox306 were doing some digging into this a few years back, and we noticed a couple strange things:

In the Area 53 talk show on San Andreas, Marvin Trill mentions the console:

"I hear what you’re saying about video games. People are dying every day of Malaria and it’s all because of the messages planted in our minds from that Degenertron in the 80s"

In the radio ads on Vice City, it's said that a strange man comes to empty the machines each week.

Anyway, what makes those statements weird is a real life urban legend Cfox was looking into at the time: Polybius.

Degenertron: described in a 90's conspiracy show to be capable of mind control.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a mind-controlling video game on our hands in VC.

Introduction

Thanks to the marvelous work done by Xalbador and other users, Vice City has grown to become a mammoth of myth hunting, with about 400 pages on this wiki: even outpacing San Andreas, the game credited with kick starting myths.

However, even with all this great content, Xalbador's poor PC has left the wiki in a dire situation. Many of the photos and videos on VC pages are unprofessional. Photos are taken at 640x480 resolution with the HUD still on and a visible crosshair. Videos are plauged with low framerates... with all this in mind that's why I started the Vice City Media Overhaul project.

This is an absolutely behemoth task and I can not do it alone. Even with a large team of contributors, I think that making high quality remakes of over 400 images and videos may still take a large time to complete such a feat. But I know that if us Wikians work together, we can overcome this.

How It Works

The way I intend to lead this project will be hard to explain. Once the sign up process is complete, I will create a sub page on my userpage listing all VC myths in order as they appear on the navbox. From here, all the myths will be divided among the participants in an even number. For example, if 5 people sign up for this project, that's about 380 / 5, in that scenario is about 70 pages that each user is responsible for adding images for. For example, User 1 will get pages A thru D, User 2 pages E thru H, and so on. I think this is also an incentive to have more users sign on, as it will help the work load as we can "multi task" and have many images uploaded at once. When a user has uploaded one or more of their photos, they can head to that page and cross off the pages they have fixed, essentially acting like a to-do list as well.

Requirements

Because this project is a collection of multiple users, the people who organized this project (Myself and Indep, with some help from Slash) have decided on a few small guidelines to ensure standardization in these new images.

• Location and angle must match original photo as close as possible, but you don't need to worry about other variables such as time.
• HUD and Radar must be disabled for a clear photo.
• Please use the first person mode of the Rocket Launcher when taking photos.
• The resolution of these photos should be 1024 by 768. Larger photos are allowed if the possibility is open to you.
• When uploading your image to the wiki, please use the PageName-GTAVC.png format. For example, Downtown-GTAVC.png.

These guidelines are very simple and will help with standardization. If you make a mistake don't worry about it, just re-do it later or delegate it to somebody else.

Hey, I was playing Vice City today and I was hanging around Print Works. Many Vercetti gangsters hang around there, so it is easy to hear dialogues. One of them has literally creeped me out, as a gangster said "I think you should tell him, Mario" or "Why didn't you tell him, Mario?" (I know that it ended "tell him, Mario", but I can't remember the start). As it is assumed that Mario actually knows about the whereabouts of Ricardo Diaz's Grave, I think that the gangster refered to it. This "him" is most likely to be Tommy. I don't know what to say about this.

Hey there people. I was playing Vice City on my phone today, and I found something bizarre about the door to Secret Room. As I saw it, I took a screenshot.

What do you think of it?

Hey! I was playing VC from yesterday to today 22:30 (UTC) (I'm a no-life lmao). Anyways, I was speeding through Downtown with an Infernus on the left lane, and there was a Taxi, which almost hit me. It has done the maneuver, which is used by Reversing Vehicles in SA. I think it needs some more investogation, as it has happened on the point, where there aren't any intersections. Drop your thoughts in the comments, and say, if you encountered something similar in VC.

It should be obvious that there is a large marking on the pavement in front of the Little Haiti office of the VCPA. The trail is of a different material than the rest of the dock, and part of me wants to say that it resembles skid marks moreso than bricks - implying that vehicles have been through the area recently. Moreover, following this trail will take you to a nearby garage, that is boarded up and derelict - perhaps to hide the contents inside. Since we all know that the VCPA is corrupt and perhaps involved in the drugs trade, I think this might be one of their methods of transporting goods out of the Little Haiti office.

You can sometimes hear buzzing noises while driving around in GTA VCS, it's just a glitch though, i don't know how to trigger it or if it exists in LCS also. Anyway, is there a page for it? If not, i may create one.

I found some peds that spawned in Ocean Bay Marina, which is an area where peds are not supposed to spawn, they seemed to be looking at each other and maybe having a conversation, they never changed direction or walked, they were just standing there looking at each other as if they were having a conversation, i hit F12 as soon as i saw it.

I actually saw more strange things on the game, but for some reason F12 did not function when i saw them, probably because steam was in offline mode because i didn't have internet.

Hey there, I was playing VC and driving around, when I have hit some bearded guy and he yelled "FIRE IN THE HOLE!". Can that be a clue for terrorism in VC too?

A lot of Vice City pages were deleted recently, and is causing a few problems for the Wiki. What is going on? All of those pages were valid and I think they should be recreated.
