Theories and Analysis
The only reason that explains their existence is that while rockstar was milking the newest game in the franchise for money, the players would have something to do after completing the story or doing the 100%completition thing. So i think that Grand theft auto 5 shall be the richest gta in myths till now so let's try to focus more on it.
Leatherface is my favorite slasher killer (you can tell by my profile picture) and a part of it, is because his story in the Texas Chainsaw movies isn't only about him but his family as well. So I, as a fan of the movies thought maybe Leatherface isn't alone in San Andreas. This speculation is however based on both the original TCM movie and its sequels, and the 2003 remake, which was released only a year before San Andreas, and since San Andreas was developed a year before the movie, the developers might have added a possible Easter egg. Let's start.
First of all the location, most myth hunters agree that Leatherface would most likely spawn in Panopticon, and I think that Rockstar made that place specifically for the Leatherface easter egg, as there is blood on the floor, and chainsaw sounds for atmosphere. But the main point isn't Panopticon, but the locations around it.
Closest to the Panopticon is Blueberry Acres, a large farm. In the 2003 Remake, the Hewitt farm, where Leatherface and his cannibalistic family reside, in part resembles the Hewitt farm, being a large farm with similar looks, being surrounded by hay and have a factory close to it.
And the third point is, the Factory, in the 2003 film, the house is close to a slaughterhouse, which after going out of business is the main reason why the Hewitts eat people. In GTA SA, it is a brewery, the FleischBerg, which like the farm, partly resembles the 2003 slaughterhouse. Fleischberg also means "Meat" Mountain in German.
Tying the theory with Romero family
The Romero family shares the similar story with the Hewitts, with both being families skinning and butchering human bodies and possibly being cannibals. Another fact is that in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Sawyers (family in the original movie) sell human organs at a local BBQ joint that they own.
So thats the theory, leave your thoughts, I think this all is an intentional Easter egg that Rockstar included to honor the TCM series.
I've seen cris formage appear to my character in a cutscene after i die. And i also remember hearing his vioce telling michael to donate to the epsilon after michael gets beat up by the two epsilon members. Would that make cris formage a god(divine) or just some kind of alien?
Hello, fellow Myth Hunters! How have your day been? I've got a theory for you. It's incomplete, and lacks a lot of information, but it'll do for now:
As we all know, it is commonly known that there are Multiple GTA Universes. I'd like to think that it's true, especially when Rockstar Games has acknowledged this fact in the past. But, there's a few things that really goes against the very logic of the statement itself.
Here's the problem: Certain characters from the 3D Universe either gets referenced, or makes an actual appearance in a game from the HD Universe. Lazlow Jones and Fernando Martinez are good examples. But even if we look past the fact that theses are "radio station hosts", there are still more characters that appear in some way, shape or form. OG Loc is the strangest one. He is not seen in the HD Universe, but he gets referenced in a way that makes it seem that he's a part of the HD Universe as well. This next bit is copied straight from the GTA Wiki:
1) In Grand Theft Auto IV, a copy of OG Loc's sole album, "Str8 From Tha Streetz", can be found in Niko Bellic's safehouse in South Bohan, in Luis Lopez's safehouse in Northwood, and in the DJ area in Bahama Mamas.
2) Additionally, in Grand Theft Auto V, in Franklin Clinton's second safehouse, there is a gold album with OG Loc's name on it. This can also be viewed in the "heist room" of apartments with 10-car garages in the online mode. OG Loc CDs can also be see in Franklin's safehouses near stereo systems and in Jimmy De Santa's rooms in the enhanced versions of GTA V.
3) A tour poster in Whispymound Drive also advertises OG Loc's OriGinal Tour and Down and Dirty tour.
4) OG Loc also has a star on the Vinewood Walk of Fame.
So, here's my thoughts on this:
Seeing a picture of, say, CJ inside of Franklin's safehouse is just an easter egg, because it's hidden behind a book or something like that. That's the definition of an easter egg. Something that is hidden, but that can be found if you look for it. The references to OG Loc, however - they're different. The fact that his sole album is found inside of GTA IV, means that the album was released in the HD Universe as well. The fact that Franklin has a Gold Album inside of his safehouse, means the same thing. The fact that there's a Tour poster, means that OG Loc is on a tour inside of the HD Universe. And lastly, the fact that he has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, would entail that he received it inside of the HD Universe as well.
I only wanted to focus on OG Loc this time around. I wrote everything quickly, and I'll go back and fix the grammar some other day. I'll also expand upon this theory as I remember/receive more information. If you have any other suggestions of something that could fit into this theory, please tell me.

Vincenzo Cilli is one of the main antagonists of GTA Liberty City Stories. I'll assume you already know LCS' story so I won't elaborate it much.
He's killed inside a ship in a mission called "The Portland Chainsaw Masquerade" which is an obvious node to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. After you kill Vincenzo, if you go to the cemetery in Bedford Point you can find Vincenoz's gravestone with "Not so lucky after all" written on it, this cemetery doesn't exist in GTA Advance and GTA III and is replaced by an opera house, meaning the cemetery was removed or replaced at some point between 1998 and 2000. Could this be because the cemetery was haunted by ghosts? The cemetery actually has a bunch of people buried that are killed throughout the storyline so it could not necessarily be Vincenzo's ghost.
But the interesting thing is not the cemetery, but it's location in which he's killed. Vincenzo will set up a trap to have you killed inside the ship by defected Leone members equipped with chainsaws, that's strange considering Vincenzo is not much of a psychopath. After you kill Vincenzo, you can equip the Overalls, an outfit consisting of blue overalls and a hockey mask which is an obvious nod to Jason Vorhees who wears similar clothing. If you wear the Overalls and come back to the ship you can play Slash TV, a minigame where you have to "Kill all the deranged psychopaths! They just keep on coming." which is a pretty strange description. Why would there be "deranged psychopaths" inside a ship where you killed someone? Could these psychopaths be the ghosts of Vincenzo's men? Or maybe Vincenzo's ghost appears as a bunch of psychopaths rather than a single entity? Why is it called Smash TV? I know it's obviously a reference to the 1990 arcade game Smash TV, a game this side mission was obviously based on. The "TV" in it looks very distinctive, I don't think the cranky Toni Cipriani would call up a TV channel and say "Hey, I killed this guy in a very elaborate way. You want to come and film me do it again?" so why is it "Slash TV"?
If it isn't Vincenzo's ghost, then I think Slash TV must be a myth of its own, you can only start the side-mission between 6PM and 5AM and while wearing an outfit that was also worn by a fictional serial killer. You have to kill "deranged psychopaths" who are homeless people with chainsaws in the first level and chicken mascots in the second level, both of who drop large amounts of money when killed. Completing the first level will award you with a minigun, and the second will with a rocket launcher.
What are your thoughts? Is Slash TV proof of Vincenzo's ghost or just a silly side-mission?
Alright, could it be possible that the K.A.C.C and Area 69 are responsible behind the Water Pollution, they are both connected because in real life Area 51 is an Air base, and K.A.C.C is an aviation fuel depot. K.A.C.C is the closest base to the Pipes north of LV, the US Air Force also appears in the mission N.O.E, trying to shoot down what appears to be liquid in green canisters, this could be Green Goo, Toreno even says its "highly dangerous material". K.A.C.C is linked with the Water Pollution pipes, and sometimes the water glows Green, there's also green pipes inside Area 69. One final piece is that during the mission in which Carl steals the Goo, the train appears to be going from K.A.C.C to somewhere else. Could the Goo possibly be Jetpack fuel? Comment on this below. Thanks to Jim and Indep for helping me out.
Woods Creature is a myth that fascinates me, I've been puzzled by it, and over the years I would try to solve it. But this theory is mostly based on various sightings by users. So lets start, firstly most descriptions of the Creature is
- Black
- Near trees or vegetation
- At night
So here's my theory, it's either a glitched tree or bush, now I don't know how likely this is but it fits most of the descriptions, because most sightings are seen at night, the simple bugs and wrong textured vegetation cannot be seen properly at night. Also its mostly black which is the color of wrongly textured vegetation. Basically the Woods Creature is an illusion created by bugs and glitches. Now what Terry Donovan said about "something being in the woods", there is no definite proof of him saying that, if someone does, message me, anyways back to the subject, if he really did say that, then the "thing" is most likely to be the Ghost Cars or the Killer Cowboy. I don't believe that this theory is right, but its always possible. Post your thoughts below!
Hello, I am here to say my theory and analysis about the MALE01 ped. So, let's start basic, he's a place holder pedestrian, Bobcat and Train driver. However, if you were to load your game and he would take place of a, let's say for an example, FAM1 member, that would happen because the game didn't load fully the FAM1 model, which explains why he can spawn as a gangster, police officer, robber, etc... When ulown00b uploaded his two-part video I was skeptical, it is possible the placeholder happened for him, or he just used an IMG editor (IMG Editor 2.0, Alci's IMG Editor) and replaced the Ballas model for the MALE01 model, I may be wrong but that is just my theory.
So uh, just looking through old myths, and when I was watching the "Possessed Docktug" video, at the start, I noticed something.

At 0:16, you notice a person, with a backpack it looks so? staring at the ocean. It looks pretty scary as you dont see NPC's just staring out at the ocean. He does not move, but it's definetly not edited in as 1. he's in singleplayer. 2. his foot, like any real NPC in grass, is covered, by grass. it would take pretty hard photoshop to do that. so uh, what is it?
So uh, within Tongva Hills we've all heard of the "native americans" myth. If you've done the treasure hunt for online, then the second step makes you go into the cave with a spaceship part in the Tongva Hills, where there's a dead body stripped almost naked with what looks like its face ripped off. Could this possibly relate to the Native Americans myth? They were always know in real life for usually being pretty hostile. However, as other clues for the Treasure Hunt, you find a bloodied shovel and an empty casing.
If it doesn't have anything to do with Native Americans, then who the hell is THIS guy then?
So, what are your opinions? I originally made a mini-rant but I decided to delete it, since it's better to remain neutral at this point, especially since the update isn't even out yet.
Anyways, have a great day, and happy myth hunting! :D
So I came here after a long time and was randomly looking at some pages when I stumbled upon this one. I found that the status of this myth is stated to be unlikely. I don't know about the GTA Vice City part, but these voices do exist in GTA IV (I was the one who noticed it in case of GTA IV). The theory of this voice arising from a distorted sound file is not confirmed yet(I never thought about this though) but the existence of the myth is still confirmed in GTA IV even if the cause remains "undiscovered". So, should the rating of the myth be changed to "proven" for the GTA IV part? I was actually going to change it but thought that it would be a better idea if I post a discussion about this first.
While I was driving an Obey 9F near the Pier in Del Perro, I saw a pedestrian falling from the pier, complete with a scream. Is this an easter egg or could it be a myth?
Hey guys this is just a stupid(In my opinion)little theory about Human Organs found by GunShow or someone, and that Burger Shot has human organs in its food.
In Vice City there is a butcher shop where it sells human organs for transplants, like brains, livers and hearts and stuff.
I think Burger Shot's staff bought those human parts from the butcher, like some sort of a black-market thingy?
And the butcher shop probably is a black market. And when some murder happened they just scrapped the parts from the corpse undetected.
You guys can leave your own opinions
All seing eye can be seen in Altruist Camp. We all know that cracked egg represents Trevor, right? Yeah, and there are many all seing eye drawings in Altruist Camp.
It tells that, Trevor (cracked egg) is connected to the all seing eye (Altruist Camp). With connected I mean that he is the only one character who won't get attacked if he enters the Altruist Camp, however other characters will.
With this theory, we can now examine more about Jetpack.
Franklin who represents Jetpack and Michael who represents the UFO, will not enter the Altruist Camp without getting attacked, so that's why the lines don't go direct to the all seing eye.

As we all think Mt.Chiliad mystery is something about the mountain itself. However, what we are trying to solve is cracked egg, UFO and Jetpack. There is nothing to solve about the mountain in the game, but the locations of these things in the game. They will obviously not be somewhere near Mt.Chiliad.
In 1986, Miami a gun battle that occurred on April 11, 1986, in an unincorporated region of Dade County in South Florida (renamed Miami-Dade in 1997) between eight FBI agents and two serial bank robbers. During the firefight, FBI Special Agents Jerry L. Dove and Benjamin P. Grogan were killed, while five other agents were wounded. The two robbery suspects, William Russell Matix and Michael Lee Platt, were also killed. This event is similar to Vice City mission The Job, it even includes the same weapons, Ruger and a revolver, the failed bank robbery, two survivors, shootout with the police, the year, and the location matches. The shooting occured in Piencrest, which is on the border of the metropolitan region of Miami, the weapons used during this shooting are a Ruger Mini-14 and a .357 revolver, both appear in VC. After a bank robbery, two gunmen were corned by police and eventually the FBI. There they had a shoot out with law enforcement, also similar to the mission.
At first he appears to have a German accent, and looks like he is in his late 60s to early 70s, perhaps he may have been apprehended during Operation Paperclip, it may be unlikely, but who knows.
Second, I found that he says "I'll face alien vectors, but not a gun" and "I'm not expandable, the project needs me" suggesting that some weird project is taking place in Area 69.
