I have recently changed the infobox code to make it a bit more readable for people who aren't used to editing them. The main focus was to change numerical label fields into what the fields actually represent (i.e first --> game). I haven't removed the old labels to reduce the work of changing every page to the new labels.
I have also changed the map label to "map" (plus up to map2, map3, etc) but I have not removed the field that makes "image1" or "image2" into maps - this will need to be changed in the near future, requiring a lot of work. In the mean time, you can use a <gallery> tag like on the Torture Cells page, or use the {{Infobox2}} template like on Ever Black Shadow.
There is a new field on the Easter Egg infobox called "reference" that can be used to describe what the Easter egg is about, my example is on the True Grime Street Cleaners page.
If you have any other suggestions for new infobox fields, feel free to suggest them. And you can get acquainted with the new labels by checking the documentation on the infobox pages.
November 28, marks seven years since the GTA Myths Wiki was launched. Over the years many of us have seen this wiki grow up and have gained a deeper understanding of popular myths and found new discoveries. Without the whole community this site would not have become what it is today. Thank you all and have a happy Thanksgiving!
In the mean time, I have updated the navigation page so that those affected can still access the forums under the "Community" tab, though I might make it a separate tab if the Main Page version is more widepsread.
Hey there! My name is Bluerock, and I'm the new Wiki Manager for the GTA Myths Wiki, taking over from PsiSeveredHead. This means I'm your first point of contact and liaison for Fandom Staff. If you have any questions about your wiki, feel free to drop me a message! My focus here is mostly technical, so if you have a question about article content, you'd likely get a better answer from the admins.
You can re-build our discord server that was destroyed by a troll who has no life.
Congratulations to Mantiix being inducted into the GTA Myths Wiki:Hall of Fame.
I'm interesed on translating the website to Spanish. Discord: MyNameItzOZMQ#9677
Hey
as most of you know I'm a bureaucrat who also happens to be an UotM for quite a long time. I'm not sure how many months I was on the main page but there were for at least 5 months. The community selections decreased but this is the time to bring it up.
So vote for a user who you think should be an UotM.
Needless to say, the one with highest votes until 1st December will be selected.

I will also vote, and of course you can vote for me.
ADMINS AND BUREAUCRATS ONLY VOTE.
The GTA Myths Wiki is no longer affiliated with the GTA Wiki. Any page that happens to have the "GTA Wiki Info" category [1] is to have any links leading to the GTA Wiki removed, and redirected towards the Grand Theft Wiki.
I have split the Ratman page into three separate pages for each game. Content for III and V is heavily lacking and IV needs cleanup. If someone could help out in cleaning up these pages, that would be appreciated.
I have created a page at GTA Myths Wiki:Projects as the one stop shop for all the ongoing projects you can find on the wiki. As of this post, there are still some incomplete project pages that I need to make, but I hope this page will become useful for new and old users as time goes on.
Hey fellow Myth Hunters! Welcome to the 2nd annual Photographic Competition created by Andrew and Mantiix (I posted it because he was busy...) The Rules are the same as the last competition
- Rules:
- - Game can't be modded
- - The photo can't be edited, by putting a creature. Adding filters like black and white is allowed.
- - The photos must be related to some in-game myths, taken in myth locations etc.
- - All comments, which aren't related to competition, will be deleted
- - Only one photo allowed.
- There will be community-based vote. Everyone can participate. The deadline is 30th April 2018
- You can take photos in every game you want.
- If the photo won't meet ALL the rules, the user will have to wear a special Userbox for a month, until the date of being caught on cheating.
That's all, thanks.
Hey all. I have created a new series of templates used for adding a video to an article. This time, they all have unique color schemes similar to the navboxes instead of the normal green-pink-red. There is also an HTML comment added to the page when the template is put in, giving help to any user on how to actually put in a video to the page (detailing the size and alignment it should be.) I guess these can also be used as a border for images on your profile or whatever, but I don't think they look that good. All templates follow a standard naming procedure.

Happy New Year everybody! I hope 2018 turns out to be a great year for all of you, both in myth hunting, and your own personal life.
I'm seeing too many pages for myths (for San Andreas at least) that are listed in the Proven Myths category when they shouldn't be there. It seems like a lot of the pages are considered "proven" just because a non-mythical location/thing simply exists. Examples being the Creepy House, Ghost Town, Biowell, UFO Map, Mount Chiliad Natural Arch, Hell House, Angel on Rock, Mr. Hat, Vehicles Named After Mythical Creatures, Mount Chiliad Cabin, The Cane
Did these myths start out as "Hey there's this thing over here, people should check it out"? That sounds weird for something like the Hell House. I think this wikia needs higher standards and/or needs to clean up the pages/categories.
