So, what are your opinions? I originally made a mini-rant but I decided to delete it, since it's better to remain neutral at this point, especially since the update isn't even out yet.
Anyways, have a great day, and happy myth hunting! :D

In the myth community, I support it because the never-ending butthurt about "never buying another rockstar game again" from people who have spent four years on a single mystery is hilarious.
Without saying too much, here's a time-line of negative events that went down this year:
- Take Two took OpenIV down, but later apologized and said that the OpenIV team can continue the project as a result of a lot of people complaining. Credit to TheIndependent40 for reminding me about this.
- Take Two announced that the highly-anticipated GTA V Single-Player DLC was scrapped, simply due to more people playing Online.
- Take Two announced that they would be looking into ways to incorporate a digital currently system into all of their future games.
- The Trailer for the GTA V Doomsday Heist update dropped, where essentially the jetpack's existence was proven to be real, but only in GTA: Online from the looks of it. They also showed off several DeLorean-looking cars that not only flies, but also can go underwater... only problem is - it's Online content only :/ YAY!
TO BE CONTINUED! :'(

Don't forget that they almost took OpenIV down... but uhh... that was some modder-class shit.
-"never buying another rockstar game again"
did you really say that lmaooo
For clarification I never stated that I wouldn't buy another Rockstar game again. But what I did say was that I may not find myself buying Red Dead Redemption 2. This is because of many different reasons. My reasons being:
1) RDR 2 will definitely have microtransactions and for all I know, even freaking loot boxes (since Take Two doesn't see loot boxes as gambling) or some kind of mega-deluxe edition that gives the players that bought it unfair advantages over other RDR2: Online players. I've seen this happen with EA's first Star Wars: Battlefront game and the original Destiny (published by Activision). It would not surprise me to see Take Two pulling something like this off.
2) Most of the upcoming updates will most likely be online-exclusive, if not all of them. They did it with GTA V so it makes sense.
3) This kind of brings me back to #1, but Take Two have already stated that they're looking into ways to impliment "recurrent consumer spending opportunities" for all of their future games, which of course is their own variation of the word "microtransactions".
4) I'm very angry at EA for all of the bullshit they've been causing lately, so seeing one of my favorite game developers go down the same path just because their parent-company are greedy arseholes really makes me sad.
Also, a few other things:
I just learned from a Reddit post that the new "Doomsday Heist Update" was in fact going to be a part of the Single-player DLC for GTA V. This makes me think that the Chiliad Mystery would've been completed through the DLC. But, because of Take Two, the mystery only continues in the Online mode, which I haven't even spent 10 hours playing on so far. I have, however completed the story mode at least 15 times.
So, in conclusion: I've already boycotted EA, because I'm not putting up with their nonsense and lies any longer. Take Two could be next on my list if they further destroy some of Rockstar's best franchises.
Anyways, this won't stop me from myth hunting in any of the current Rockstar games. I still respect Rockstar. But if Take Two take it too far, I got to show them that I don't want to be a part of it anymore.
Please tell me if you'd like me to provide any links to any of the topics discussed in this thread so far.
Happy myth hunting! :)
