<p>Hey all! I know that I am not that active here not even editing on this wiki but I had eye on this wiki everyday, the members are hardly active here, this wiki has become a melodramatic website that has more disputes rather than new theories, findings etc. Well thanks to Gunshow, GTAMyths1, Awesome Boy for fb page to keep this wiki still interesting for me. Yesterday I was chatting Gunshow finely and I showed him this message of Ali about the wiki, leaving what is happening right now at chat or what has happened before. He told me to show this message to all Respected Members here. So yeah, have your thoughts on this and for the last thing do not make a drama here on this thread. <p>The foremost thing my friend is that you've a huge accomplishment gap between your current admins and b'crats. Primarily, the b'crats are established myth hunters and senior editors whereas the current administrator slot is based off self-gain, ego, insecurity and no passion for myths. They just blurt out vitriolic/sour views about the website and the reason they've the position is to simply earn power. I am sorry but I can't take this bullshit on an internet website where each user is to contribute and just go to their regular real life work, what's happening on the wiki is contrary, people tend to argue as if they're unemployed/high school dropouts. The main problem lies with the Staff page that unknowingly promotes unaccomplished, immature and wolf in a sheep's clothing users. Minus Vault, Boomer, Jim and good ol' Sasquatch, no user is eligible to earn a position. Forget about myths, nobody cares about them, infact we've got users on board that literally hate myths. I had about 50 more myth pages to make but now I've changed my mind, I may comeback but that'll only last for a day and I'm not sure about that too, it's not conceivable at this point, maybe in winter when I hope some of the staff will be ousted due to their apparently itchy and insecure nature. You've got to eliminate these friend groups on GTA MW that are being operated from another wiki as well. - Xalbador Gliese 581C

<p>If Xal ever comes here, I wish him to catch me on Chat. He is really good guy and I swear that he was the only one user, who made me truly smile everytime I seen him on chat. Also he was one of the truest people around here. I know, he was leaving and coming back, but still, I really liked chatting with him everytime I had opportunity to do so. It was literally him, who made me play Vice City and make various maps in it. And you know what? I even have an unfinished 3D model of my interpretation of Gator Keys, which was influenced by Ali's presence, not that he said me to do so. He was such a kind of person, who could change people's minds (at least in my case.) I will have him in my heart. You may say "But he was pointsgaming," but that won't change my mind about him. I know, I wrote much about him, but those words still aren't enough to describe how Legendary he was.

<p>I don't expect anyone to stay on a website for hours and hours on end editing and talking on the chat and then claim to have a life though. I think there has to be a good balance between both.
</p><p>As for the drops in new myths and inactive users, thats lead to rinsing and repeating because usually when a new myth is somewhat 'found' users seem to chuckle and deny it straight away.
</p><p>Plus there isn't much major work to actually do, apart from the odd vocabulary/link fix or category add, because you have great editors such as Gunshow and TheIndependent grinding and keeping articles in check daily, plus kudos to Awesome for highlighting threads we probably would not have found otherwise.
</p><p>I'd still prop the community for actually staying on the site and keeping it somewhat active in terms of thread debating and chat talks, everyone here is solid in that department.
</p><p>Maybe Rockstar could stop milking the hell out of GTA Online and bring us some actual information on GTA VI, like seriously lol.

<p>Well said Jak. I've seen this happen before with dips in activity but it's not a big deal. Even GTA Wiki isn't super active and that wiki is 11 times larger than MW. Once GTA 6 gets announced the speculation and rumors will start up and we'll see more and more users. At this point I think GTA 6 might not come out till 2020 since RDR2 has been pushed back to 2018.
</p><p>Regarding Ali's statement, I feel he has had a good run here and enjoyed building the wiki. I still don't get why he left and disabled his account. Ali's personal feelings about some users' level of maturity and motives is insightful nut not a surprise. There needs to be an attitude change in the staff. People need to stop the squabbling and drama because it is irritating to other users and is disruptive. Lowering the staff limits might be a solution, but the whole community needs to be onboard with acting more professional.
