Why cannot there be any relations. I mean maybe Rockstar made ryder in HD universe (in other engine). Maybe it is possible.

Lazlow and Cris Formage are the only characters that were ported to the new universe, and they are characters in name only as they share completely different appearances and personalities than the 3D counterparts. Any old characters in the HD universe is just coincidence and/or wishful thinking.
Thank you. Ryder was just an example.

Because Rockstar said there isn't.

There isn't anything different about their personalities. How can they have different appearances when GTA V is the first time they've ever actually appeared in a game? All that was in previous games were voice clips on the radio.
There are other media characters besides them that were carried over, though. Love Fist, Fernando Martinez, and Crow, for example. And the Vinewood Walk of Fame has stars for Candy Suxxx, Donald Love, Amy Sheckenhausen, Tommy Smith, Steve Scott, OG Loc, and Madd Dogg, among others. These characters do exist or had existed in the HD Universe in some capacity, but the main characters and stories of the 3D Universe games are part of a different continuity.
