I saw this in a YouTube video. According to the theory, CJ and Franklin are related by blood. CJ is either his uncle, with Denise being his aunt. This should be considered because in the GTA V trailer she looks like Denise Robinson from GTA SA. CJ and Franklin look alike in a few ways. They both have muscles in their default look. Dress Franklin up in a white tank and blue jeans in his default hair cut and tell me he don't look like CJ.

Rest In Peace CJ, Rest in our Mind. and its true, if having CJ in ur mind is not enough, play GTA San Andreas or mod GTA V (im playing with Epic Games Version so is a bit complicated) but ye. It's such bullshit that they just HAD to create a whole new continuity. Why couldn't they just make gta 4 a soft reboot, but still have some canonical ties to the 3d universe. I mean, grove street is in gta 5, why couldn't they just have one odd mention of CJ? Now because they chose to create this 3d and hd universe bs, we will never actually know what happened to CJ and his crew years down the road. It's just a waste.
Liberty City and Los Santos being completely redesigned from their 3D counterparts is one reason. Even Grove Street looks nothing like its 3D iteration. Besides, I'd rather have their stories left open-ended rather than end in a way that might be undesirable. The only thing that stopped players from complaining about John's death in RDR1 was their shifting to complaining about Arthur's death in RDR2.
Grove Street is in GTA: San Andreas and also GTA V, so it sounds like they are related but GTA(S) Grove Street design is more different and does not have Ryder, Sweet, or even CJs home on there also looking different.
Franklin’s Last name Is Clinton Not Johnson Plus People say Again C.J. is his uncle and aunt Denise is denise Robinson and her last name is Clinton Not Johnson Either. Franklin Is Not C.J. Dad I’m Sorry People.
